Michelle is a Counselling Therapist working with people experiencing grief, loss, trauma and PTSD, depression and/or anxiety as well as those searching for meaning and purpose in life. As a narrative therapist Michelle believes healing comes by helping people tell their stories and tapping into their resilience. The goalis to leave two things: (1) knowledge that you can heal through pain and (2) hope that you can once again feel joy in life.
Michelle has a Master of Counselling degree from Acadia University and is certified by the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists as a Registered Counselling Therapist-Candidate (RCT-C); a certified Grief Recovery Specialist with additional training in Trauma.
